Inspired by reggae parties in 2002, Mighty picked up her own turntables and quickly became a skilled reggae/ragga/dancehall/soca selecta, spinning for the first time live the next year and soon adding ragga jungle, oldskool and happy hardcore to her sets: the signature inspirational sound in her Mighty Jungle Breakz mix series. Her characteristic appeal in the mix featuring nothing less than the most soulful powerful jungle, blending some of the rarest melodies and vocal tracks overtop rough drum mash-ups. By 2005, Mighty co-founded the promotion crew Seance de Danse, representing ragga jungle as separate sound from dnb in her hometown of Dresden, regularly booking and playing alongside the biggest international talent, featuring both reggae and jungle floors, and quickly creating a dedicated Massive following. In 2008, Mighty began touring internationally, travelling first to Belgium and then Canada, playing shows in Toronto and Ottawa. After meeting later this year, Mighty began colaborating with DJ K by planning, designing and marketing for Killa Records, as well as releasing a B2B mix. In this same year, Mighty started producing ragga jungle, dropping her dubs live with DJ K on tour where they play a tight combination of ragga and hard jungle sessions together in Germany, Belgium, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia. In 2010, Mighty is playing regularly across Europe, throwing parties in Dresden and spending more time in the studio - releasing her latest productions on Dub Chamber Records. In 2010, Mighty, together with DJ K will tour North America, in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Los Angeles, San Diego, Philadelphia and New York. As a Producer, DJ and Promoter, Mighty's dedication to, and original take on jungle mixing and remixing, she has become known one of the most in-demand and hardest-working members of ragga jungle today.

Having followed breakbeat and hardcore music for years, in 2000 DJ K began spinning as a jungle DJ in his hometown of Ottawa, quickly becoming a local favorite, and in the next year released his own ragga jungle productions at the forefront of a North American ragga jungle renaissance movement. Embracing the raw new sound of jungle happening at the time, he brought his unique hard-hitting straight-forward amen style to releases on N2O and Big Cat Records, and in 2003 founded Killa Records with 2 releases. For the next years, K focused on production and making dubplate mixes, collaborating with similar artists and playing shows near Ottawa and Los Angeles, as well as starting the Killa Podcast. Through his website and vinyl distribution, K's sound reached the Massive in Europe and in 2008, he was invited on his first European tour, performing in Belgium, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Germany, Austria. In this year, K met and started working closely with Mighty Melody on the Killa label, planning the next vinyl and released a B2B mix before heading together on the 2009 tour, blending both styles of their original ragga jungle sounds in Germany, Belgium, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, UK, Austria and Slovakia. In 2009, KILLA003 was released. K also started Killa Digital and began releasing on other digital and vinyl labels in Europe. Later in the year he travelled on a month-long Russian tour, also played again in Ukraine, Lithuania, Germany and to Poland. In 2010, K launches the next tour with Mighty Melody, this time bringing their sound to North America in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Los Angeles, San Diego, Philadelphia and New York. In 2010, DJ K heads on his next tour across Europe. K has been hard at work on new dubplates, continuing to expand the harder and raw side of jungle to live shows and podcast mixes.
